Find It

“Find it” is my number one most used game, not only because it’s a fun and mentally stimulating cue that taps into your dog’s natural sniffing instincts, but it’s also ridiculously easy to teach and do for anyone at any age and ability. It’s great for redirecting your dog’s attention during stressful situations or providing enrichment indoors on rainy days. For example, tossing a treat and asking them to “find it” can calm a nervous dog during a vet visit or serve as a rewarding game to tire them out mentally.
